Apple Festival





We have all felt the change in the weather and that means Fall is around the corner. With Fall comes all kinds of good stuff, like pumpkin spice in almost everything but we all know that it only belong in coffee and a few desserts. Other things that Fall brings is an event in my small town of Erwin, TN on October 5th & 6th is the famous Apple Festival. I will be setting up a booth this year in Food Lion's parking lot and I am very excited due to this being the first time setting up here. So mark your calendars cause TKG Creations wants to see you there.

On a recent trip to Charleston South Carolina to celebrate my 14 wedding anniversary I learned about sweetgrass. Sweetgrass baskets use to be called slave baskets until one day someone took a negative and turn it into a positive, so the name was changed to sweetgrass baskets.
