Crochet Pickle Pattern
Here's what you will need to make a pickle.
- A crochet hook I used a G hook
- Any yarn I used worsted weight 4 ply
- A small amount of stuffing
- Scissors
- Yarn needle to hide your tail
- Safety eyes I didn't use any
Sc - Single Crochet
Inc - Increase
Dec - Decrease
Bo - Bobble stitch
Yo - Yarn over
Rnd - Round
Mc - Magic Circle
Special Stitch
Bobble Stitch - (Bo)
Here's how to work a bobble stitch
Yo insert hook into stitch, Yo pull up a loop, Yo pull through two loops on hook, repeat until you have a total of six loops on your hook, Yo and pull through all six loops. Bobble stitch made. Now continue to work your pattern for a few stitches and push your bobble stitch to right side of work.
Crochet Pickle Pattern
Rnd 1: Place 4 sc into a mc (4 sts)
Rnd 2: Inc x4 ( 8 sts)
Rnd 3: Sc, inc x4 (12 sts)
Rnd 4: Sc, Bo, 10 sc (12 sts)
Rnd 5: 12 sc (12 sts)
If you decide to add safety eye you will add them between rnds 4 & 5
Rnd 6: 4 sc, Bo, 7 sc (12 sts)
Rnd 7: 12 sc (12 sts)
Rnd 8: 8 sc, Bo, 3 sc (12 sts)
Rnd 9: 12 sc (12 sts)
Rnd 10: 2 sc, Bo, 9 sc (12 sts)
Rnd 11: 12 sc (12 sts) (stuff)
Rnd 12: Sc, dec x4 (8 sts)
Rnd 13: 4 dec (4 sts)
Finish off leaving enough yarn to close the pickle.
Now you have a cute little pickle.
You can use this pattern and the product you make as you see fit.
